While visiting Ecuador my cousin James and I decided to try to climb Cotopaxi and semi active volcano in the beautiful Andes Mountains. After a day long battle to reach the glacier and a deathly migraine and nausea, I was hooked. Yes I am a glutton for punishment.
Since then I have climbed Kilimanjaro in Africa and my friend Rick Hayes and I have made an annual trip to Colorado to climb all the US 14ers. We have been climbing Colorado since 1998 only missing a few years.
