Throughout the 1990ís my passion was adventure travel. Being single and working in the computer field gave me the freedom and money to venture through all corners of the world. After spending the summer of 1994 in Ecuador I began a passion for visiting indigenous people as well as developed a love for mountain climbing.

Late 1997 I moved to South Africa to design and build one of the first Internet Service Providers in Southern Africa. Living in Johannesburg gave me the opportunity to travel overland in my 1974 Land Rover 109 covering countries as far north as Zambia. I also over landed from West Africa to East Africa. I have currently visited eleven African countries in multiple trips.

In 2001 I ventured to the West African country of Ghana. Living with the Mamprusi tribe and realizing their language as not been properly translated to English and available for travelers. I began a seven year quest to translate and publish the Mamprule language to English..

The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page. ~St. Augustine

Today with a family of five and super busy work schedule my travels have taken the back burner. Once or twice a year I try to take a short backpacking trip to Africa or South America. Once I am able to retire from work and my children are grown I will find myself wandering the globe again..
