Throughout the 1990’s my passion was adventure travel. Being single and working in the computer field gave me the freedom and money to venture through all corners of the world. After spending the summer of 1994 in Ecuador I began a passion for visiting indigenous people as well as developed a love for mountain climbing.
Late 1997 I moved to South Africa to design and build one of the first Internet Service Providers in Southern Africa. Living in Johannesburg gave me the opportunity to travel overland in my 1974 Land Rover 109 covering countries as far north as Zambia. I also over landed from West Africa to East Africa. I have currently visited eleven African countries in multiple trips.
In 2001 I ventured to the West African country of Ghana. Living with the Mamprusi tribe and realizing their language as not been properly translated to English and available for travelers. I began a seven year quest to translate and publish the Mamprule language to English..
